The Nissan Armada is a large, spacious, and well-insulated mini-van that can carry up to eight passengers. The optional captain’s chairs can reduce the seating capacity to seven, and the second row captain’s seat folds down with a handle. The seats, however, can’t be reset. On SL and higher trims, the third row folds down automatically with buttons located on the armrests. The power-folding third row is optional, but it can be adjusted easily via the buttons on the armrests. The automatic folding feature is also available for the rear seat.
Nissan Armada seats
The Nissan Armada seats eight people in three rows, with two rows of seating being bench seats. The second row can be upgraded to captain’s chairs, and the middle console can be placed between the seats. The front seat provides an excellent driving position, while the second row is comfortable and welcoming for taller passengers. However, the third row is cramped and is not a good option for families. Although there are other SUVs, the Nissan is still one of the more affordable options.
The interior of the Nissan Armada is upscale, with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system sprouting from the center stack. While the controls are outdated, the rest of the cabin is spacious. The armada is available with seven or eight seats, and can tow up to 8,500 pounds. It also has a rear-wheel or full-time four-wheel drive. The Nissan Armada has standard forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, as well as a standard V8 engine.
